GISMAN Navigation buoy:
a comprehensive range of high quality, performing Aids to Navigation solutions suiting all marine environments.
Eight more navigation buoys were added to the existing range a couple of years ago, suitable for proximity beaconing, shallow waters, fast current zones, port beaconing, semi-exposed or sheltered sites, coastal and offshore applications.
All buoys are manufactured from strong, durable UV-stabilized virgin polyethylene, pre-compounded to reduce color ageing and with expanded polystyrene (EPS) foaming.
EPS foaming offers many advantages, such as higher buoyancy, higher impact resistance, 95% water tightness and no impact on the environment. EPS is used for all GISMAN buoys, offering a clear advantage over other buoy manufacturers.
FLOATING BUOY :
A buoy floats at the surface and is moored to the bottom. Floats (some are also called bobbers) can 'float' at various depths or rest at the surface.
These come in various sizes, shapes, and colors.
Most mooring buoys are made from HDPE. Rope floats are made of compression molded polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
MOORING BUOY :
Small and lightweight, the 650mm,Mooring Buoy can support a mooring chain up to 20mm in diameter.
Manufactured from strong, durable UV-stabilized virgin polyethylene, it is filled with closed-cell polyurethane foam for additional strength and durability.
It is rotationally molded with a wall thickness of 7mm and can be customized with mould-in graphics, if required.
light buoy :
Light Buoys are ideal to aid safe navigation and demarcate marine and coastal areas at night.
Besides providing navigational directions, the Light Buoys can be used to identify dangerous or restricted areas, and for brand promotion for events and beach resorts. A company logo can be placed on the buoy or a message to promote a business, a product or a service.
The 750mm buoy is manufactured from strong, durable UV-stabilized virgin polyethylene, and filled with closed-cell polyurethane foam to maintain floatation in case outer shell is ruptured.
marine lanterns :
Hyperion HL-1, HL-3 and HL-5 are self-contained solar LED marine lanterns, giving a visible range up to 6 nautical miles.
The mono crystalline solar module is made out of the highest-grade silicon, ensuring the highest efficiency rates. All marine lanterns are IP68 rated with a humidity resistance of 100% and a warranty of 2 years.
